Gerard King

Gerard King is a celebrity butcher! Renowned for his appearance on Channel 4′s Come Dine with Me, he has made several other TV appearances, including recently on The Great British Food Revival on BBC2 teaching a Food Safari beef butchery workshop.

Gerard manages the Broxtead Butchery at the Suffolk Food Hall, just outside Ipswich and brings his years of experience working for his father’s small chain of butchery shops in North London. He was attracted to Suffolk by the opportunity to build relationships with farmers and he sources all his meat from farms in Suffolk.

Gerard teaches all Food Safari’s butchery workshops and courses where he brings humour as well as his year’s of butchery experience.

Gerard is also available to teach private Food Safari butchery workshops for stag-dos, team building, chefs training or for small holders interested in learning how to butcher their own meat.
